Starting worm composting is easy. Our VermiHut Worm Composting Packages include easy-to-operate, stackable worm bins with Cap, Working Trays, Worm Tea Collector and base. We also include coir as worm bedding, two Drain Cloths, and an instruction booklet. You will need to order worms separately as our packages DO NOT include worms. Worms may be found at local farms or you can order them from our web site.

Kitchen Compost Pail
As soon as you set up your VermiHut worm compost bin you will want to start saving your food scraps to feed to the worms. A counter-top Kitchen Compost Pail is useful to store these scraps until you are ready to feed them to the worms.
A majority of your food scraps can be used for vermicomposting (composting with worms). Rather than putting these scraps in the garbage, why not put them in your handy Kitchen Pail? What you do is only keeping throwing your kitchen waste to the kitchen pail and throw the wastes to VermiHut bin when the kitchen pail gets full. Since worms like rot food, composted waste in the kitchen pail can be digested more quickly than fresh waste is digested.
The Kitchen Pail comes with an inner plastic can and an exterior steel can. The interior plastic can is easily removed and cleaned. The lid of the Kitchen Pail is designed to hold a charcoal fiber fabric to filter smells which might develop from the waste. The charcoal fiber filter is replaceable and two filter blocks are included with each kitchen pail set.
The kitchen pail is designed in Rome Pillar style look. It might also bring Rome fashion to your kitchen.

Coconut Mat
To fulfill our commitment of continuous product improvement, we include a piece of coconut fiber mat with each VermiHut order. The coconut mat can help reduce fruit flies. VermiFactory is the first to introduce the use of the coconut mat for this purpose. It eliminates the hassle of making shredded paper. It is not currently offered by competitive brands. An additional benefit of the mat is that it can eventually become food for the worms. No environmental impact. It is neat and clean.
